    Need rear tire, the one the bozo put on, rubs the drive shaft.

    You need a 130 90 16 for the Special on the rear. The PO put on a wider tire. There is very little width that the bike will accomodate.

      You don't have it in your post, but your LG has a 16" rear wheel. You can fit up to a 140/90-16 on some bikes depending on brand... but none that size in a raised white-letter as they will scrape. The maximum width you can fit on most is 5.4" wide, so check manufacturer specs before buying.

      A 130/90-16 will fit every time...

      Standards with a 17" wheel? Your only choice is a 130/90-17..
