  • FD conversion questions

    Preparing to do the conversion.
Mocking up my swap in rear end and I have several questions.

    1) In this conversion you do use the ws1100 driveshaft?

    2) XS 850 yokes are different? I havent looked at an 850 yoke but I have the
1100 and when I insert the shaft it is recessed up in there at least 1/2 inch.
    Thanks,
    George

Yes, you use the XS1100 drive shaft. The XS750/850 drive shaft is to long for the XS1100 swing arm.

      use 11oo shaft

So I guess the shaft I have in my hand must be the long one. I was looking at it with the bushing, then inserting it into the yoke I have and it didn't make a lot of sense.
      Thanks
