    Gaskets, etc.

    Rebuilding the top end in a '79 Special. Been a while since I shopped for cylinder and head gaskets - Ouch!

    Anyone have a good source for these?

    Also need some piston clips and they're $2.25 each at Bike Bandit.

    It is usually easier and more of a deal to just buy the whole gasket set instead of just a head gasket.

      Most folks buy the complete gasket set from Parts-n-more. BTW, you can get the XJ set, it is the exact same except the head gasket has the part for the YICS on it, which you can simply trim off and it is exactly the same as an XS.
