I like most bikes, and it DOES look good to me! I know it should be what YOU LIKE! The seat seems to fit pretty well for a HD....
Good looking bike, all around. I WOULD think about a new rear tire, though!

Uh, did you ninja-punch the end of the tank to get the seat to fit or is it the camera angle ...?

In the second picture: try not to leave the petcocks on Prime. If one of the carburetor float valves leaks the entire tank of gas will drain into the engine and onto the ground. You will get a beeg surprise the next time you light it up.

Hi Brad,
it's not what I think, it's what you think that matters.
But since you ask.
I think offset licence plates look off-balance and just plain wrong.
What I'd do is hang the plate on a rubber splashguard below the fender tail. Then I'd lose the single red tail light, put red lenses on the signals and convert them to run/stop/signal function with dual filament bulb holders and a 6-way to 4-way trailer light converter, ~$20 from NAPA. Keep the skull by all means.

Dont mind me Brad, I've never been backward about coming forward and no one is ever left wondering about what i'm thinking. If you like it then thats all that matters.

Bike looks awesome, rear tire looks scary! I say it's your bike, and you're free to do what you like. Everyone in the 50's thought the kids were crazy for cuttin' and choppin', but we ended up with some of the most bad ass hot rods and rat rods on the road!

It is your bike Brad, do what you want. Being more of a stock guy, i don't like it. Looks like a Hardley from the rear. I would hate to think someone miss took my Yamaha for a piece of asian harley.

well, I did. Mind you, this site has an automatic sensor that blanks out bad words unless you spell them funny.
Lucky for me it only spells in American so I can call someone an arsehole in plain English but can only tell him to phuque off by using alternate spelling.
But back to Brad's bike, he's kept the rear suspension and the Standard tank and the rear fender wraps around enough to do what's needed; all good. The skull rear light don't have a legal area of red lenses so he's boosted it with what seems to be a red trailer light; good thinking.
The only thing that I don't like is the offset layout of the plate & tail light.

Great idea, i will look into that. My thoughts were to copy a 50's style bike.

Hey Brad: Bike looks awesome - love the skull light - I think if you go with Fred's idea you would get the 50's look you want like you stated & the back end would be cleaned up. I think you have captured the "essence" of the 50's look - I think the offset trailer light does that more than the seat actually.

Brad, the way the seat was 'fitted' looks totally appropriate for the style of the bike. I like it.
