  • Jardine overhaul - glass packs & such

I've decided to follow in the Ceramic coating concept for the exhaust system. The fellow I talked to said they sandblast everything first and then
will have the exhaust for about a week. He asked if I can remove the baffles first & that way they can get the inside too.

I'm new to much of this & didn't realize there are glass packs in there. Looks like the glass is around one part of the tube but no exhaust flows through it.
You can see the rust on the inner part the glass is on.

The old glass will have to come off for them to get to the baffles, is there a special kind of glass I need to get to restore them back to original or do
I just use glass insulation for a house minus the paper backing?

    Thanks!

Different packing material is sold for 2 and 4 strokes. You might check your local cycle shops for it. I ordered some for what seemed like a really good price, only to find to same thing for less uptown.
