Almost every city has a company or ten that specialize in metal finishing.
There is normally a minimum charge. I think here in Portland it is about $50.00. Also, some companies do NOT do automotive pieces. Check around.'80 XS 1100SGComment

I have an old article I saved on how to do anodizing at home. It's a full page in MS word. I got this off of an old gun discussion list and it came from a guy that I know used to do his own anodizing.
I can post it here of I'll eMail it to anybody that wants it.
