  • Is this seat for a SF?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...TQ:MOTORS:1123

3H3-10 is the number the seller said is on the tag but; the back seems to have the tail light cut out.
I really want to know if this will work on a SG or later.

If that is an XS11 seat, it came off of a XS1100SH. If that is the case, it will fit a XS1100SG.

Interesting, I did not know there was a difference between the SG and SH seats. But I do know one will fit perfectly to the other. And that seat would definitely be for the 80-81. It is missing four of the rubber bumpers for the seat bottom.

The SG and SH seat pans are the same, even though the seats are different. SG is curved and SH has a step in it.

          don't forget

Don't forget the Standard seat pan is slightly shorter to accomodate the Standard tank and allow the seat to clip into the hold-down.

A Standard seat fits fine on a Special but hard the other way around.

            Hi Don,
and unless my aging eyes are playing tricks it don't have the seat hold-down fasteners either. Nice looking seat otherwise though.
