  • 2nd Generation XS Rider

Back in the early 80's I rode a '79 XS 1100 Special with bags, trunk and Vetter on it. Now we just got an '80 Special for my son off of eBay. It appears to be in immaculate condition and it turns out the bike is a one owner. Of course buying a bike sight unseen (ridden) is always a bit unnerving. We have a 6 hour drive today to pick it up, wish us luck!

Looked at that one a few times. Very nice bike. Looks like it will need an air box and perhaps that bag patched up, but overall a really nice looking machine. Congrats.

And welcome to your son and welcome back to you to the world of insanity that is XS11 ownership!!
