    Found 79 special air box on ebay. Will it fit my 1980 midnight special? I know its crime and not gold. But price is good.
    Remember, eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

    Yep, it'll fit; all the XS11 airboxes are the same...

      Only thing you want to pay attention to, is that the nipples on the air box that the vent lines attach to on the older style carbs will be open. On the air box from the newer models 80-81, those nipples are not drilled out. You may want to plug those nipples.
