  • A new(used) automatic CCT for my XS

Just finished off the Venture Automatic CCT upgrade this week no hang ups whole operation went like a charm , pull plugs, mark on C and removed old tensioner( had a square I'de say 3/8" pad/block of black hard plastic ? on motor end)the new one has a round (I'de say 3/8 again ) metal end on motor side, took end bolt out and reracked the rod , reinstalled bolt and rod racked in as bolt was tightened, double checked my work then started her up she sounded a bit better, for a ride she did fine, still have the 1100's motor noise but can't do much about that I'm guessing. IT is a pretty simple "mod" truly bolt right on and go.

Yep, no getting past the valve clatter of an XS11.

But that clatter is something that makes them special.
