I am re-jetting my carbs and was wondering how many turns out I need the fuel-air mixture screw. The jets I'm putting in are 147.5 mains and 45 pilots. Is there any other things I have to change? Float settings maybe? This is my first time so please bear with me.. Thanks

Think of it this way, the mixture screws start out at 1-1/2 to 2 turns out for stock jetting (different pepople start at diff points, its just a starting point to get you running so you can tune). Obviously, you changed exhaust and or moved to POD filters, and are rejetting to compensate. Well, your rejetting so the conditions are closer to stock with that equipment. So, the starting point should be same as stock.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!
