  • Fuel Hose?

I picked up some fuel hose from an auto parts store the other day. It is too big to do what I need does anyone know of a good quality fuel hose?

Plain single walled 1/4 fuel hose. The double walled auto stuff is to thick and flakes off on the inside too over time. Lawn and garden stuff works fine.

This is what I use. Had it on my bike for over a year and has held up great.

I have been running Briggs and Stratton fuel line on my bike for a couple years. No issues yet.

Replaced the 30yr.old OEM fuel lines with the OEM fuel line from the dealer. Got enough to cris-cross lines with filters and that extra length un-criss-crossed makes it nice using the tank flipped backwards in seat position for fuel when syncing carbs, figure should last another thirty yrs?.......A Standard sure keeps things simple......including front brake pad replacement.......

Mike's XS sells oem style thin wall fuel hose. IIRC, it's $1.25 per foot.

at the auto parts store, they had a little lawn and garden engine area

in that area they had 1/4 inch clear fuel line

i was gonna pick it up, but wasnt sure if it would melt or something

but it seems that some of you guys are using lawn and garden style fuel lines so i think im gonna go for it

i dont trust the automotive line im using now

its to thick and a pain in the ass to move it around
