  • Help Please Have A Break/caliper Question?????

i just changed my front tire and had to take off the calipers to put the tire back on now for some reason when i apply the breaks they are not closing together to stop the the front tire..how do i fix this and what could be the problem

was there brake fluid around the calipers? Did you put something between the shoes while the caliper was off? Also check if it leaked fluid, or the piston is jammed perhaps by dirt, or the line is pinched, you are out of fluid. Does the lever feel the same as before.

      brakes/caliper

Have to ask some questions. When you took off the brake calipers did you push the pistons back in the calipers to get the disc rotors to slide back into place? If so all you need to do is pump front brake lever until feel pressure.Once it does that check brake fluid level add if needed, replace cover and ready to go.Let us know what it was or is and try to get it cured for you.
