    Tank Badges

Saw an XS11 yesterday with polished, aluminum wing instead of tank badges. Waited but the owner never showed up.

Anyone ever seen anything like that. Looked great.

        Sorry, I wasn't very clear. Weren't Honda.

Looked very custom. Just a polished piece of flat aluminum cut in a vague wing shape.

Was it kind of like this one over on the XJbikes forum?

            Steve,

Thanks. That's exactly what I was thinking except a bit smaller and more rounded. Wish I could figure out how to mount it without the screws showing.

That is probably the best idea. Just make sure you use some good quality stuff (automotive application). Sure would suck to have it come off going down the road, or melt off sitting in the hot sun!

They have automotive grade stuff made for auto trim and such which should work fin for that use. I put the Vetter badges on my tail trunk about a year ago with the stuff and they are still on there pretty much as tight as ever.
