Just wondering what anyones thoughts or ideas about putting on new front forks from a sportier bike. Anyone done this. Just wanted to know what all it would take and how difficult it would be. I'd like to put all new controls but I'm affraid of how difficult the wiring and such would be. I'm trying to turn my xs11 specian iinto a cafe racer!

That's what probably at least half of those doing heavy mods are doing, is going cafe. The two fork mods that I'm aware of at this point are FJ forks, or I've heard of doing Hayabusa forks.Cy
