    Mikes XS PODS

    I just got some Pods for my bike from MikesXS. The quality is SO much better than the crappy Emgo pods that were on it. Just sayin...

                  It really goes to show, you get what you pay for. The construction/materials are head and shoulders above the Emgos. PLUS, they're easier to put on the damn carbs! The emgos were a pain in the ass.

                      they're still are pretty cheap pod filter considering
                      the foam uni filters i was using were around
                      $30 ea, and the genuine K&N filters are much more
                      again.

                          be sure the pod and carb are squeaky clean on install.
                          Mr Careless left some lube on one carb and the effin' pod fell off in the street 500 miles from home.

                                  not too bad. When I got home I nicked one off my son's XS750 that he was rebuilding in my garage.
                                  He added a replacement onto his next parts order from MikesXS so no downtime and no shipping costs.
                                  I got off easy.

                                      i have the mikesxs pods on my bike and not only do they look great but the sound is something else ,,just my 2 cents ,,ride safe ,slow mo!
