thanks 11rider, the exhuast is nothing fancy. the mufflers are from jcwhitney. Just cheap glass packs. I had a piece wielded on the stock headers so I can slip on the glass packs. when I say "free flow" i mean they are less restrictive then the oem mufflers. with the pods and "free flow" mufflers i had to keep uping the jets untill it stopped running lean. this bike was unused for about 4 years from the PO when I got it. after changing all the fluids and other changes, shes running great. this is my first xs11, and i cant wait to do a nice run this spring.

Looks pretty nice. As for the exhaust, I'd look into some way of putting a bracket on those glass packs so you don't have all that weight yoinking on the fitting at the head. I know that they probably weight a lot less than the stock mufflers, but I would think it's still not good on the head. You should be able to do something behind them that doesn't show much if any that would keep them from pulling down on the pipes there (I'd be worried about how much they might be pulling on those exhaust studs myself).

Do you have any more pics of the fairing? What brand? I like that and it might be something I would consider for my XJ.

The fairing is a old school Maier. I didn't have the proper mounts, so I had to "jimmy-rig" it. Being from East Texas originally, this came naturally. I also had to customize around the turn signals also. Hope these pics help.

Cool bike man! looks like mine, till it went down the slipper slope of cafe-ness! You might as well sell the "stock parts". You will never put them back on...

I might sell the stock stuff if someone would buy them. I guess I should gather all that stuff and take a pic. I guess it would be just the airbox, windshield and oem mufflers. You are right, I won't put them back on.
