carb ?

so many of you know that i am slowy cleaning and prepping the judge for spring and i was assembling i notaced that i have 2 different emulation tube. is this normal or are they suppose to be all the same...also the tip of the idel air needle is stuck inside the carb...so ill need one of them anyone got 1 to spair? i also got some 45 pilots but seem kinda iffy ill post pics of them tomorrow..good night from iowa

The common understanding is that the tubes with less holes go in 2 and 3 to richen the mixture for inner cylinder cooling . I concur and my SF is set that way. The parts list seems to agree with 3h3 tubes in 2 and 3 . 2h7 tubes in 1 and 4. Also seems that if you have all 2h7 tubes in all 4 it is ok. the E and F standards are set up that way.

here is some pics of the pilots... the new ones fit fine but seem way larger then the stocker...oh im still cleaning so please mind the filthy crud left on the stocker

hard to tell from the photo, are the metering holes in the very end of the new ones, or way down inside? If they are way down inside then you've got the wrong style jets. Where did you get them?

what d u mean by metering holes? and i got them at a local yamaha dealership... 4.50 a piece 19.28 out the door for 4

Looks like those pilots have 8 holes. If so, they ARE WRONG. Should only have 6. Off hand I can't remember the number of the correct ones though.

its looking like i am going to be taking these one back....jetsrus dont have main jets just the small air ones... where can i get all my jets?

Mikesxs has them, Georgefix has them, lots of places. Is there a local shop you could bring the originals to and compare theirs so you get the same?

Pilots, yes. It just has to be the 30/96 type. So is you want #45's the yes that is the part number.

Mains, yes that works as well.

Just remember those come in pairs, so ya only need 2 to get the 4 jets you need.

Oh, and with the needle tip, I have not felt with it before personally but if its sticking through into the carb throat you may ne able to push it up and out.

I agree, those new pilots are the VM style not the B30/96 style...eight holes instead of six. Also watch for ones with NO holes, they are the N151 and also wrong.
