HALP!! My fuse block is toast..

One of the tabs for the Main fuse broke off and I was having obvious trouble keeping the bike running after that.. I installed an inline fuse holder and got it going again, but the other fuses aren't looking so great.. I've heard this is a common issue, but I was wondering what the best replacement would be.

Hay Sam....I got one of these from Top Cat and it works great!! Looks factory! I put one on my xs 400 as well!

It looks perfect! The only kind I could find at autozone was one with a common terminal, noooot so much what I need.. Lol

I run the gang type box with the common terminal on mine, you have to take the box apart and disable the right side fuse clips. My main fuse is in an inline holder and the other three in the left side. The right side is for spares....

Phil, would you be willing to make a tech tip showing how and what wires you put together to feed the single side of the gang block, so if folks wanted to do this style, they could follow your design?

If I ever have to do another one like this, you betcha. It's really pretty straight forward. According to the schematic, the brown wires for the turn signal, headlight, and ignition all join together in the harness, so those three would go to the common terminal. Just hook the wires after the fuse to their respected location and you're done. Downside is it only holds 3 fuses but plenty of room for spares. I forget it it is absolutely necessary to disable one side of the box, but I must have done it for a reason.
