  • XJ Rear Shocks

Does anyone know how much oil each rear shock on an XJ holds? On the naked boy all the fluid leaked out of the shocks during the clean and buff process. Don't think they need to be rebuilt but they are bone dry at this point and the boys are just about ready to start putting the bike back together. Adam searched the site for answer but could not find anything.

Can't give it to you in OZ or CC yet. The spec calls for you to add until you are 2.95 inches from the filler port. Ya have to make a dip stick like you use in the middle or finial drive.

The stick on a dial caliper works nicely for that, or a measured wire?
