    1978 Xs1100 project

    Almost done thanks to all of you this step of getting the bike tuning and re painted is done next will be polishing the aluminun and SS parts

      Great Job!

      Starts idles a responds good to throttle.
      Keep up the good work.
      Especially Like the headers handle bars and fork brace.

        Nice! I like the sound of the kerker. I may just put my kerker on my 78 standard.

          Hmm.. Verrrry interesting. A 78 painted to 79 Indigo Blue color. What made you decide on that color?

                Good point that's what I did the bike had some other exaust but I live the sound of the kerker it is loud enough but not noiz

                  My toys (04 F250 SD, Sea sprite Mark 3 boat)
                  Now this baby but I decided because my truck was first and that's what u use to move the toy .

                      The bike starts and sounds nice!
                      The fork brace is NOT a good one, though. As a test, stand in front of the bike, hold the tire between your legs TIGHTLY and try to move the handlebars. If you look at the brace while you do this, you will see it flex. The TKat or Teleflex brace will NOT flex, and does give a little better feel to the bike. I know this as I have four of the XS1100's, and two different braces on them. The tube type like yours would allow the forks to move, the TKat would not.
                      OK off the soapbox....
