  • Charger mishap

    I connected my charger backwards
Lucky for me it was not plugged in and my ignition switch was off.

I attach the charger to the brake pedal and the starter relay lead that goes to the battery.

I'm thinking that I shorted my battery to ground through the charger.
    Does that sound right.

I disconnected everything the bike started and the tachometer worked so it looks like I did not cause any damage.

Does not seem like there is but; what is the possible damage?

Most batteries end up exploding if you dead short them, damhikijk.

if the charger was not on your probably fine.
