  • Newb with an '81 Special

Signing up with a new-to-me '81 Special. Uncle parted with it, just a bit of wear and tear, planning to become my daily commuter. Looking forward to the forum to keep it up.

I have an 81 Special now and had another I parted out after a rough wreck. Lots of great info here on how to work on these beast, figure out there problems, and cure what ails them in general.

            Hi Cherry and welcome,
more details in your profile, please.
not that anyone wants to steal your stuff, but if you'd rather be called something other than "Cherry" or have someone say "I'm not too far from there, I'll come and help you." it helps to put the info in your profile and a precis in your signature.
