    Honestly, every time I have tried to run fuel lines across the top of the air box, the line kinks at the petcocks.

    I have those small funnel shaped fuel filters on Banshee, and I simply run the line form the petcock nipple down between the closets two carbs airbox stacks with the fuel filter just below the stacks and the outlet straight to the fuel T of that side. No crisscrossing or the like. For me, this simple method has worked out best, no air pockets, no kinked fuel lines. JMHO

      The Standards don't have the kinking problem as much as the Specials do. The Standard's petcock outlet comes straight out, not at a downward angle like the Specials. My 2¢.

        Learn something new everyday, I can go back to bed now, todays lesson over. Never knew that about the Std petcocks.
