    Geezer's Recitifier/Regulator

    I just received a lovely, slick rectifier/regulator unit made by Geezer. I thought I'd let everyone know just what a nice, well-engineered piece of kit it looks. It seems such a shame to have it hidden under the fuel tank! If its performance is anything like the appearance and build quality, it'll be great. It arrived unscathed and untampered with by UK customs because of Geezer's very obliging shipping policy. So, no import tax at this end; just a packet waiting in my mailbox.

    It even comes with the two bolts to fix it to the bike frame and two connector block kits which are dead easy to make up.

    I'll be fitting it to my newly painted frame and hopefully getting the bike back together in the next couple of weeks.....
    XS1100F 1980 European model. Standard. Dyna coils. Iridium plugs. XS750 final drive (sometimes). Micron fork brace. Progressive front springs. Geezer regulator/rectifier. Stainless 4 into 2 exhaust. Auto CCT (Venturer 1300) SOLD. New project now on the go. 1980 European model.

    I've been cogitating on buying one of those for a loooong time. Let us know how it works out.
    I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.

        I have had mine for a couple of years now and it's doing a great job. !!!!!

        Dyno tuned to 98 hp at the rear wheel.

          I got a used one a few months ago, and I could tell instantly the difference in how much sooner the charging kicks in. I used to have a gradual increase in gauge brightness as the RPMs went up, but now, anything above idle gives full brightness instantly. Very nice item!

            I've had mine for 3 years and really like it. No issues and much better out put from charging system.

              I'm glad y'all like them... It's almost enough to make me blush...

              It's getting close to Christmas and I need to buy goodies for the grandkids and if you're willing to order one and wait a week to two for me to get more made up, I'll knock 20 bucks off the price. I'll keep the offer open up to December 21st...
