  • Looking for OEM Turn Sigs??

Just a heads up; if anybody is looking for stock turn signals (for both Standards and Specials), there's a bunch of NEW ones listed on EBay right now. There's multiple listings for NOS Yammy sigs (at not cheap prices) as well as NORS ('new old replacement stock' and 1/2 the money) aftermarket units. The aftermarket units aren't the cheesy plastic ones either (at least the square ones aren't). Made by 'K&S', these are all-metal, have very nice chrome and look well made. They're not quite identical though; while at a casual look they look the same, there's minor differences. The OEM lenses won't quite fit these, and the lens screws have a standard thread. But even so, unless you're trying to do a 100% correct resto, these will be much better than the scratched and/or pitted stuff that's usually listed. Want OEM, they're there too, but prices are about double (or more).

I bought a pair of NORS standard fronts, and am quite happy with what I got.

Yes they do, but a forum member bought some and according to him theirs are chrome-plated plastic. He reported that they broke when trying to install....

If that's not the case, let us know.

I've never seen as many XS parts on ebay as now. I just checked and there were over five thousand parts for sale, most were overpriced, hardly any bargains to be had. Must be a sign of the times. Whew!!!

Can't disagree with that. Never saw so many $20 battery trays and footpeg mounts....
