XS1100 exhaust on a XJ1100?

What is the issue with fitting a XS1100 exhaust system on a XJ1100? The heads ought to bolt up fine so the interference is elsewhere?

Any sturdy known workaround get the XS system to fit on the XJ that wouldn't require major work by a muffler shop?

Muffler portion mounting brackets would be the only issue.......but easily overcome.

Yeah, what he said. To amplify, it's the muffler mounting locations and angles pretty much entirely. That and the fastening to the head, but that's also a standard and special issue as well (as are the muffler mounting points and such), since the studs are different lengths. All the issues can be handled without too much trouble, but it also may not really look right on the bike once mounted.
