  • Carb removal on the XJ11

What's the easiest & non destructive way to remove the carbs on an XJ11? The airbox does not look to slide around much. to let me pull off the boots between the airbox & carbs first & then unhook the carbs from the rubber manifolds connected to the head.

    Idears?

    Thanks!

That's the way. Sometimes a hair dryer on the airbox boots to soft them up a bit helps.

Use lots of silicon spray and patience. After the first time carb removal will become a breeze.
