Have you tried Walmart? Those look like generic fog lights to me.

      I wish!! LOL

They are on a "streetfighter" site for $300 bucks. They are DOT approved and have glass lenses rather than plastic. kit comes with mounting brackets as well. but i do not have 300 bones to blow for them!!!! SWMBO would have my A$$ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe this one? It's in the UK, but it's an option.

The "cheap" driving lights I use have glass lenses so do most others so that is not an issue. To get true high beam you could use a 100w bulb in one and keep the standard 55w in the other, this is what my headlight bulb is, not DOT approved but I don't have to worry about inspections and I like to see when I ride at night out here in the sticks. You can pick up a 100w at any auto parts store, i.e. Auto Zone, Checker, Pep Boys ect. They use the brighter bulbs for "off road use only" but I use them to stay on the road. Really the hardest part will be finding a style you like. I would suggest using a relay on both so you are not running all the power thru the switch. I am one that modifies a lot of the parts on my vehicles. I have set my headlights up so when I switch to high beam my low beam would stay on and it is much brighter, am not doing it on the XJ as I am afraid of screwing up the headlight reserve unit. I have installed driving lights on the XJ and run them all the time (I want to be seen) and have no problems. Good luck and please keep us informed with this project. Send more pics.

I bought these lights locally here in NewZealand, I know they came from a us suppler, but cannot find the link.
They bolted straight onto the STD's headlight ears, 75mm lenses.

the yellow tint is from the yellow coverd bulbs inside the lamps,
the signal lamps were a pair I bought from the local HD dealer.
The bag under the lights holds the wiring loom, no room inside the lights for the wires.
It was a simple plug and play job taking about 2 hrs
