  • XJ650 Seca Turbo

I was looking for another bike to add to my collection and I came across an XJ 650 Seca Turbo. It was good looking minus the body parts. It runs awesome and the turbo seems to be in great condition. Is US$440 a good price for this bike? I was planning on taking that engine and tranny on the empty XS11 frame (it has no engine or tranny) I have and run that frame with that engine and tranny. The wiring harness and control module seems to be in great order.

The XJ650 is a smaller package than the XS1100. I'm not sure how it would fit in the frame, but it WILL GO if it's still in good condition. I had an XJTurbo in '83, and LOVED the way it would lift the front tire at 65MPH! If you can get the title, you can probably get a running bike without all the plastic. It would give you a bike that will outrun a LOT of 1 litre machines!

Thanks guys. I plan on picking up and having it transported to Indiana. I don't really like the body parts on them. I think I will leave it and ride it like that. I wanted to do a frankenstein v twin swap on the empty frame. The engine I decided to find was the 1300 Star engine.
