Nawh...Though I'd expect that an XS/XJ could be set up to tow a 750 triple.

What track time, Larry? When I get another XS up and running and some proper track gear I do plan to get some motorcycle track experience but certainly not with a bike named Columbo!

The only track I've been to that required protective gear, a fee, a skill test and a license was the 30 years ago at the (new at the time) 'Grand Prix' go-cart track in Pinedale, CA. It looks like the old track is still there but now it's called Boomers.

Already been done Newbie. IIRC it was on u-tube....two brothers built one, showed the one brother putting it through the paces and after one lap the rear tires were shredded. Other brother not happy as he was gonna have to pop for some new skins before he could hammer it.......
