Hey all, I recently purchased a parts bike for some of the parts I had been looking for, for my 80xs1100 special. Well it turns out that this bike is really a combination of an 80 standard and an 80 special. Some of the parts are in really good shape and I am considering selling. My question is will the standard tank(in really good shape) fit other years and also the headlight assembly also in really good shape fit other years? Thanks:Rick

1980 XS 1100 replaced the seat and sissy bar from a XS 1100 standard and changed the handle bars. Did not like the original bars at all.No mod at all except for a four into one header. -
Those parts are interchangable from any year standard XS1100.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!
