    regulator

Geezer makes and sells a much improved voltage regulator, plus he will answer questions and even sell the correct connectors. This regulator gives full charge at a lower RPM than the OEM.

Yeah, but geezer has a LIFETIME warranty on his part, and it WILL charge at full voltage at 1,500RPM, NOT 2,500RPM like stock. Yes, it will cost a little more, but , "you can go cheap, or you can pay more for quality".

Check here http://www.electrosport.com/technica...g-system-works for a very good description of charging systems and regulators. Ours (XS) is covered near the bottom of the article but for the adventurous it's also show that a standard three phase rectifier http://www.alliedelec.com/search/pro...0575#tab=Specs and a simple Bosch RE55 regulator http://www.naauto.biz/catalogue/cate...y39/product364 available for peanuts from most all auto electric suppliers will do the trick if your stuck.

I ran an XS750 with this setup for quite a while, until I tracked down an OEM, and it worked fine.
