    WHY?

My question would be why change them im sure if u do that u will have to rejet them. Your bike is made to run on its present carbs most time changes dont make them faster . when i put cones on my carbs my xj worked awful till i rejetted my carbs finnaly i when back to stock. but if they are CHEAP buy them and put them on ebay nothing wrong with a little profit !....MITCH

I have also heard that FJ carbs will fit. Rick Jemison had a set that he was going to try out.

But an XS750 only has three carbs...

          carbs

well spoted, but if you take them of the mounting braket and get a forth one you then can put them all together on the xs1100 mouting plate ,i am in the middle of doing my carbs and found the air screw has broken off, so my carb caseing is no good, so i am using a xs750casing instead,i will let you know how i go on.

Maybe it is... check out this tech tip:

Idle Mixture Screw Broken Tip Removal

Maybe you can save the XS11 carb body. Using carb bodies from different sets is only a good idea when there's no alternative. If you do, make sure that the body and ALL the jets are the same or you'll go nuts trying to make them work right.

Good luck and keep us posted on your progress!
