Custom brake lines?

    I measured my standard and my special with brake lines on bike So it is hard to be 100% acurate. What I got was 23" for the lower hoses and 18" for the upper. My special has standard bars I would think the special pull back bars would need a longer upper. I tried to fit a set of special bars and could not beacause of the brake hose.

    For a standard I do not see why Mikes 24" ss lines would not work he has 20" for the upper.
    I would think someone has done it.

      What I found with the SS lines I got is that the angle of the fittings is very important. Those SS lines do not twist much to let the fitting change direction. That is where the difference in the std bars and the special stock bars would come in just as much as length.

          I'll fully agree with this. This is why I'd rather spend the extra money and 'assemble' my own lines with separate pieces, rather than depend on someone else to index everything properly. Miss the alignment by 5-10 degrees (very easy to do) and the lines can be a bear to fit without them interfering with things...
