I have a 79 xs11s and it already have a custom exhaust and i want to put pod air filters on it but iv heard that the carbs need to be jetted.. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forum! Here are some suggestions on jetting, based on certain mods. The best setup is always stock, but the lack of OEM parts necessitates some changes sometimes. Good luck, and be sure to ask any questions you come up with. Oh, and post some pictures of your ride!1980 XS850SG - Sold

If you've already fitted a custom exhaust, it probably is already re-jetted for it. Depending on how the jetting worked for that, you may or may not find you need to change for the pod filters.
All depends really, the link Bug gave gives eomg ood starting points, but every combo turns out a little different so you just gotta tinker till it hits that sweet spot.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!
