I checked it out, looks exactly like the one that is installed on mine. Mounts up near the top of the frame & is plumbed into near the bottom of the engine. Mine bike seems to be factory tourer so I guess they had a radiator on them.

      Oil cooler...

Standard on the '81H, Dealer option on other models/years, sandard on most European units. Comes with cooler, shroud, lines, and adapter plate that goes between the oil filter housing and the bottom of the crankcase. If you ever wondered what the 2 unused tapped bolt holes are in your frame just under the tripple-T, now you know.....

I was just on e-bay and saw the "radiator" it's not the same one I had seen earlier & have no idea where that one might go. I can't figure out where that large metal housing would connect to.

The unused tapped bolt holes are also where the Vetter fairing mounts. Then the oil cooler can mount on the fairing mounts.

I telling you guys check it out . I got a cooler and it ain't that! I'm not sure this thing came stock on any xs1100 like it says. It is a big hunk of metal. Also it's in Britain.
