  • rear tail light opinion wanted

ok so i am redoing my bike in audi papaya orange and black.the rear fender is orange and would like to put on a black tail light that would be cafe racer theme oriented.i came across a black sparto tail light what do you guys think has anyone used one on their bike yet or want to offer up a better light for me to look at putting on. as soon as my tank dries and cures i will take some pics.got a whole wack of goodies today. new fork seals ,grips, raask laverda bars,7" black halogen headlight with new headlight mounting brackets. just waiting on my new seat also.i wanted to put on a single cafe seat but my kids wanted me to keep it a 2 seater so they can still go for rides with me. painted my gauge housings. Can't wait it's getting there.....

If this is what you mean, then sorry, it doesnt do a thing for me, but if it's the 50's chopper look you're after then you've nailed it.

Go with what you like, knowing it won't suit everyone's taste. (personally I prefer the OEM look)

Pic's of the bike will certainly help others form an opinion, can't wait to see it, sounds cool.

Hey 'Lover'.... on the red bike, how did you get that fender 'shortened' with the rolled edge on it? By the way... that rear m/c i got from you is working well and with the SS lines, i finally have enuf (for what these beasts can muster) stopping power!!!

As Walker stated, there are MANY lights out there to choose from. Do a search on EBAY for LED brake lights.... J&P cycles, just about ANY bike parts place will have an assortment.....

Currently on 'Sunshine i am trying to fit a grab bar/tailight assembly off a Special onto the standard frame. I replaced the standard filament bulbs with rotating LEDS....looks cool. I also have a LED brake/light/tag holder that im going to mount to the fender..... i like A LOT of BRIGHT red lights to let the 'cagers' know im stopping......

I just moved it front until it was about even with the front of the shocks. You can just about get away with running the bolts through the signal mounts on the fender and into the lower holes under the frame.
Glad your brakes are working well, that's a plus. I've sold so many parts over the years I forget who I sold to. I still have xtra's.
