I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE SADDLE ON MY 1981 XS 1100 IT HAS LOST ITS ABILITY TO SUPPORT MY WEIGHT I ONLY WEIGH 225LBS I REPLACED THE SHOCKS FOR A BETTER RIDE AND NOW HAVE THIS PROBLEM . THE SADDLE ALSO TILTS ME FORWARD

Several options.

Take the seat into a local shop and have the foam and/or cover replaced. Have the foam tilted back. Cost seems to run around $100.00

Buy a replacement/aftermarket seat from eBay or other source.You didn't say what model XS you had, standard or Special; most seats are not intherchangeable. Costs depend on style and condition, figure $75.00 - $150.00.

New saddle covers (Travelcade and similar) are available from JC Whitney and other vendors. $85.00 - $125.00 about average.

Buy a custom seat from Russell or Diamond Seat. These are top-end seats, built to order, Expensive ($400.00 - $650.00) but are the most comfortable long-haul saddles you can get.
