  • final drive?

Can any one tell me other than the six bolts i can see how does the middle drive come off after u take the drive shaft off! Is it pressed into the case or do u have to take that big nut off under the chrome cover ? I think it is all loose but dont wanna break something prying on it . I cant find any info here except a pic of 1 that is already out ......MITCH

There are 7 bolts holding the middle drive on. The one most commonly missed is the one on the end cover. There are two bolts on the bottom of the chrome end cover. The one on the left goes all the way through.

It comes straight out. It has a gasket, which often sticks. I used a rubber hammer to get it to loosen up.
