  • XJ1100 seat fix?

I hate the way you sit on a XJ1100. It feels like you are right down on front of the tank. Does anyone have a suggestion/fix for maybe adding foam to the front of the seat to raise it or something similar? There's got to be a solution.

Any seat can be custom uphostered. Take it to a MC seat place and have them make you a seat to fit your rear. The new foam will probably be much more comfy too. It'll probably run just over $100 or so.

I had SARGENT make one for me. Not cheap, but very nice.

There is supposed to be a Walmart somewhere out in OK area that sells the seat cushions that are adv as being for quads for about $20. Supposed to really help on the XJ seat issue.

A link was posted once showing that those are also available through site to store if you local wally world doesn't carry them. I know none of mine do, so I'm planning on ordering through the web sited at some point, but for now I'm just enjoying having a sore butt after about 75 miles or so.
