Here is a qwik look at what I about to do to the bike... its kind of an xjr1300 theme. I just don't know what color to do the gas lid??? I drew it in blue firt and I didn't like it I may just continue the stripe down it but I don't know???

Cool. I'm going to do almost the same thing with my '79 cafe project. Except, mine will have the small stripe on both sides ala Ducati SportClassic GT 1000. I'd leave the cap silver/chrome for contrast, but that's just my $.02.1979 Yamaha XS1100 Special (Cafe Project)
