        I've seen that one listed a few times now. IIRc, it is always some way crazy price. It is a 1.1 so its european, but that does not buy any extra worth in my book.

            Guys, guys....you are looking at that bike in the wrong light. We WANT that bike to go for $7500. Think of what it'll do to the value of our bikes!!! Ten years ago I could pick up a 70-73 Firebird or 68-72 LeMans for less than a grand (depending on condition) but after all the ding-a-lings saw the crazy prices rich people with more money than brains were paying for cars through the Barrett Jackson auctions, even total junk cars are now in the 4-5K range!!!
            That bike IS beautiful, but $7500....no. As Cobia pointed out, either wrong tank, side covers and rear wheel or wrong light, ears and gauges. So the mileage obviously can't be counted on to be correct. Also, why would someone spend 10.000 and 150 hours (as the ad says) but not paint the center stand??

              As for the bike it would have to be new with no miles to even think of $7500.
              I think Ole will totally rebuild one for around $4500, the way you want it.

                I just sent the seller a question asking for the VIN. I want to know if it really is a 1.1 or if the guy is just mix and matching parts to get a complete bike!

                  I'll pass

                  As much as I am endeared to my bike, and no matter how sharp and clean that bike looks, I'm not going to drop $7,500 for a 30 year old bike with 30 year old technology. However, Mr Schweer is probably correct . . . it can only serve to increase the value of our bikes, if someone is willing to part with that much cash for that one!

                        Ok our local shop sent out an email yesterday they are returning all the new yamas and triumphs (this is a big dealership). And they will only sell used. They said new sales dropped sharply and used increased to match. Go to moto400.com check out the 2300 buck xs11 they claim 78 but its not I have seen it in person its an 80! The vin is an 80 it has no kickstart and the seat is n 80.

                        Used prices have been shocking the last 3 months! 3 yrs ago I bought my 79f in immaculate condition 8000 miles and 3 boxes of spare parts including a whole seat pan with seat and gastank for 1000 big ones. The smaller bikes were on craigslist for 400 to 1100 bucks or so now all those old xs650's xj 650's are like 1500 to 2000!!! Even saw an xs400 not great cond. For 1200... wtf over

                              Yeah but how much you want for yours? I understand but I wouldnt let mine go for what I paid for it and after being here I evidently paid to much.
