If you've got a bathroom scale, plunk it down on it!!!! My nephew and I lifted mine up onto my work bench, but I think I could heft it myself, so I would estimate it over 100lbs, probably not over 150, but just gestimating here!!

When I recently took my engine out to work on it, it took me and two neighbors to lift to the work bench. Think about adding a hundred to that. Btw I am not a 98 lb weakling. But this is ONLY a guess.. I am sure 66 or someone else in the know will give us the correct answer soon.

I ain't as good as I once was..but I am as good once as I ever was.... (Toby Keith)
Weight can be deceiving, especially with more than one set of hands. It could feel heavier depending on the way one lifted it, too.
Still, I've hefted and installed my Honda XL350 and XL500 motors myself as well as the Yamaha XS650 twin motor. I haven't even thought about the XS11 because I always thought if I needed to I'd just dump the motor out the side onto the lawn.....
To me, the XL350 motor feels like about 70-80 lbs. The XL500 motor feels like 80-90 lbs. From shipping estimates I've seen online and from just feeling the weight of the bike as I ride it and the size of the motor, I'm going to guess it weighs in easily at 180-200+ lbs. Maybe they just feel heavy.
You could always deduct the estimated weight of fuel, oil, wheels, frame, battery, seat, bars, exhaust, carbs, etc. from the the wet weight, or leave out fuel and oil and deduct from dry weight. :-P
That's one motor I wouldn't attempt to lift myself.
Hmm...Let's see,
I'd bet if you dropped it on your foot
You'd yell "THAT SUCKER WEIGHS A TON!!!"
The whole Bike (according to the Factory Manual) weighs 255kg or 562lbs with out any accesories (fairing or bags).
I don't know how much it would weigh if you dropped it on another guy's foot
You'd have to ask him...
Hope that helps...
