    Lower fork leg bushing

Where can I find bushings for std. forks, the ones directly below the oil seal or do you replace the whole lower fork leg. Any kind of substitute or helpful information i'd appreciate,. Phil

Does anyone have any helpful hints on front suspension tuning? My 79F has 80G air units that have been "drilled". The smoothest I can make it ride is with about 20 PSI. It still tends to be a little harsh over waves in florida pavement. I just can't get it quite right.Thank you. Phil.

Here is want my manual indicates:

21psi for maximum bike load of 1090lb (GVW).
14-21psi rider and passenger and/or luggage
        5.7-14psi for rider plus passenger
        5.7-14psi for rider

I found a note that listed 36psi as the maximum air pressure.

So, it looks like they are recommending a range of 5.7 to 36lbs.

Try dropping it down to 14 psi and see how it feels. You should also have 10w fork oil.

Thanks, ill try that. I have 20w oil in there now. I've tried all different weight oils in these. I bought these forks used and they have been modified by drilling the holes for compression dampening. The less spring preload I run the worse it rides. I'll go try 14psi right now. Thanks
