    Here's the reply to your PM to me, when I replied to your PM I got a thing that said you were not accepting PMs so here's our my reply for all to see:-

    Hi Terry,
    no, that's it. Special forks + Standard 'trees moves the axle forwards which reduces the trail to lighten the steering on your sidecar rig.

    If you are talking about the swap for less trail, USE THE COMPLETE FORK ASSEMBLY FROM THE SPECIAL. The sliders from a Standard and the Special WILL NOT INTERCHANGE. You will need to use the Specials brakes as well, but you knew that.

      Hi Ray,
      you are absolutely correct in saying that the Standard & Special fork sliders will not interchange.
      The trail reduction fix on my XS11SG sidecar rig uses the Special's fork tubes and sliders with the Standard's 'trees.
      And yeah, the Special's calipers and fender have to come along for the ride.
