  • Fork Boot Size

Will be rebuilding the forks on the XJ here shortly, I want to pick up some fork boots to help protect the seals from splooge. Any idea what size to get?

Do you mean fork gaiters like off road bikes use or the stock dust boots?

If what you are looking for is gaiters, here is a version that I have seen recommended before. Never used them myself though.
        1980 XS850SG - Sold
        1981 XS1100LH Midnight Special (Sold) - purchased 9/29/08
Fully Vetterized and Dynojet Kit added, Heated Grips, Truck-Lite LED headlight, Accel Coils, Irridium plugs, TKAT Fork Brace, XS850LH Final Drive & Black SS Brake lines from Chacal.
Here's my web page devoted to my bike! XS/XJ User's Manuals there, and the XJ1100 Service Manual and both XS1100 Service manuals (free download!).

Looking at the style on a dirt bike. I will get a few different pairs and see what fits when I get to putting in new oil seals. Thanks everybody!

MikesXS.com has them right here. Fit perfectly on mine. I just put the stock boots on the top of the gaiters to keep the top tight, rather than use a radiator hose spacer like the description on Mike's webpage calls for.
