  • Help Identify a Headlight and bagger mounts ?

Not being real familiar with standard model XS's .. can someone identify this headlight please ?

Is it a stock model ( no fairing package )

or is the one to be used with a fairing ?

It came off a 79 standard originally..

    thanks ..

Also, anyone know what this hardware works with as far as bags and fairing go ? It too came off a 79 standard.

That fairing bracket looks identical to my Windjammer mount. The luggage rack, however, is NOT a Vetter set.

That's not an OEM XS11 headlight... here's what they look like:
        http://www.benefiscal.co.uk/showpic....dlamp Body.jpg

While the headlight/trim ring look right, the shape of the back is different as is the mounting holes on the sides. And it's missing the 'adjustment screw' tab below the trim ring in the front. The stock buckets are molded plastic, this one looks like it might be fiberglass. All the fairings I've seen have the headlight bucket built-in.

Maybe this is all to a 'oddball' (non-vetter or pacifico) tour pack?

I guess now that I see that other pic I will agree with that. I have not had my headlight all the way out so I guess I should have kept my mouth shut before!

The bagger mount are for Krauser bags. I have a pair on my XS11G model and I like them because the bags are a quick detach style which helps when working on the bike. The mounts never get in the way.

            Here is the link:

click on "cases & accessories", it appears that spare parts are still available

That headlight is not from the 78 or 79 XS11s. None of the head lights I have seen for these bikes has the extended deep bucket like that one.

The 80 XS11G used the rectangular headlight.

Is it possible the headlight came off of a Seca Turbo?
