Howdy all, I own a 1980 XS1100 MNS and I am a Yamaholic as I own several Yamahas. Mine has been in storage for atleast 5 years. It was not running well when I got it. I suspect the carbs will need cleaning as the PO had it stored for 8 years. I plan to bring it home after my current project is finished and get it running and riding again. This is a great forum here with a lot of member support and information. I will do my best to give support where I can and thanks for having this great forum.

Welcome Bear,
At least you don't suffer the winter blues as many here and you can work on your projects year 'round. But being able to ride year 'round also makes these projects harder to complete. I know that from living in FL!!!!
Good luck.1980G Standard, Restored
