I was working on my front tire today and thought of all the stuff Ive done to my xs, some needed others needed but should not have done, So I wanted to share for newer members and get thoughts from fellow members...1. If it runs good enough to ride and its summer, dont muck w/it!..2. if 1st or 2nd start acting funny, go easy, ride til LATE fall and fix then,3. Dont try to swap rims from 17"to a 16", just get a lower profile tire. MUCH, MUCH easier...4. Dont add seafoam unless youre prepared to readjust a few things, and some members said rides started smoking after,(too clean I guess),5. start a slush fund(dollar here, change there) cause these bikes love the rear tire(oh ya!!) of course all of this is just my thoughts, and some(many) may disagree. But I still love this bike!

Them there some good thoughts perurider : I am not sure about not using Sea Foam though but that's just me.
I have a hard time myself not wanting to do something to my bike when it is just fine the way it is but I am forcing myself just to enjoy the good times. We get a nice long winter up here so I have to force myself to wait until then.BDF Special

Great thoughts. Of course the fact that the riding season here is all year, and such don't give me down time for that. But then, I don't get the problems that are caused by the bike sitting for the winter either.Cy
